Get yourself to the greenhouse downtown today and tomorrow to choose from thousands of plants ready to be popped into your garden or a pretty pot on your terrasse. Hundreds of varieties are being sold by Concordia’s City Farm School interns.
Remember: this is supposed to be fun. So, chill, and expect long lines. The event has become very popular, organizers say.
The greenhouse is in the Hall Building, on the 13th floor, at 1455 Maisonneuve Blvd. The sale is from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
Look for seedlings for vegetables, teas, medicinals, herbs, flowers for bees and butterflies, organic seeds, mushroom kits and house plants, too.
